    Hi ICBomber90,

I live in Columbia County and have started research on "Cobra Kits". I have some questions and would appreciate your input.
I toured FFR factory yesterday and was blown away by the quality and engineering behind their chassis. Do any of the other companies even come close? Does FFR offer the best value for the money? The price difference for FFR complete kit versus all the other brands seems to be very large. Is the assembly and paint worth the $15,000 difference between FFR and Backdraft Racing? how difficult is it to register a cobra kit car in NY? Are there area cobra kit builders that you recommend? how easy, is it to build a FFR cobra kit, for a novice? I know that FFR recommends a school in Michigan that teaches you to build one. Will I need special tools, etc? how do I keep this project under $35,000 and still have a nice ride. Not looking to race on the track, just cruising and having fun.

    Thanks

were in upstate are you from? im up in potsdam. has it been a relatively easy build or somewhat difficult? ive been a corvette nut for the last 20 years but a guy at work brought in a mag with all cobras and all the dealers listed, the thoughts of a 400hp 2250lb car that looks that good, is getting me hooked. scott
