Hello Brad,
I just came upon your pictures in the Member Gallery. Beautiful Cobra! Could you tell me please what color paint is that light blue?
Thanks so much,
David
Hi brad, can you send some pic's to me if you have some of the early stages of your build
and can you show how you removed the body and what you used to store it on. thax
I wonder who will be the first one on the road, our car will be going to the engineers next week, all being well with Craig, then it's off to registration. Took it for a run up and down the road outside the factory last week end, drives like a dream, but I think it needs "BIGGER BRAKES" (inside joke) See you on the road sometime.
You have to remember when i first ordered my Pace 427 from Craig very little had been done in regard to design and body fitment.
As far as I am aware the Chassis build is taking a little longer than Craig previously thought,
Every day i spend at AP there is new stuff arriving and another 5 sets of suspension arms arrived on Tuesday so things are happening a lot faster now than when i ordered my kit
Hi Brad
Thx for your reply so quick, I am recovering from staph so I am up most of the night and I am reading everything, I ordered my pace late 2013 and I am just receiving picks from Craig, how long did Craig take with your build? While I am waiting I am thinking what to add or change, haven't decided on engine yet again thx for the quick reply
Like most things new there are teething issues to get over
I Have no complaints really
Tolerances are tight and so care must be taken when fitting components i.e. suspension a big hammer is not recommended.
Parts were slow initially but this has improved lately with a greater flow.
I ordered my kit about the middle of 2012 and started the build in May 2013 so it will take 12 months to complete i am hoping.
The biggest piece of advice i can give is to think what are you going to do and will tou have to remove it to fit something else remember measuer twice and cut once
I am Hail 427 and like you I have purchased a pace 427 be it after yourself. I am very interested in your thoughts regarding your likes and dislikes for the pace, and what you would have added or removed, any correspondence would be very appreciated and welcome thank you in advance.
