Drive shaft- alum vs moly vs carbon vs price ?
When we were running ball spline transmissions a carbon fiber driveshaft was the only type we used. In the Cobra I'm running 1350's on an 8" steel driveshaft.

Bob, both Walbro and Bosch make excellent in tank pumps that will support well beyond 1000 HP. The pumps are easily installed with one of the hats from Fore Innovations. Here is the link to their...

Factory Five 289FIA Build
Morris, Well thought out. It might be more of a concern for a jag rear end with inboard brakes on hard high speed braking than on out board brakes, especially under normal braking. However, you...

Anyone using an electric water pump?
Negative on lower flow rates (water or air). It's a closed system. The longer coolant is in the radiator, the longer it's in the block gaining heat. There is a reason companies like Stewart...

What's the appeal of an aluminum engine block?
I couln't agree more about passengers. Only 2 people have been with me on a full throttle run. The first was my 70 year old dad and we ran it up to about 160... he wasn't fazed. The other was a...

What's the appeal of an aluminum engine block?
Absolutely I can tell when I'm carrying a passenger, same as I can tell if I have a 1/4 or a full fuel cell. It's not the weight I feel, but the increased traction from the higher rear percentage. ...
