04-22-2022 08:51 PM - permalinkRT3BDR1144Sorry for the delay. I don’t always log into the forums unless it’s broken haha. I still can’t figure out how the hell to post a video in this forum… send me an email and I’ll shoot you a video. Mleedom66@gmail.com
It’s ridiculously loud, especially under load. I’ve tried to capture it on a video but the mics on the iPhone try to compensate the audio. Imagine running straight headers and that’s basically the sound. I’m sure most people hate it, but I absolutely love the pure sound of it.
Regards,

Hi. My name is Franklyn. I'm seriously considering getting a BDR Cobra very soon. I live in Colfax which is just northeast of Auburn. I haven't seen a BDR since the last Monterey Historics in '19 and joined CC to write to someone knowledgable in the Sacramento area to get a bit more informed or even perhaps mask up and see their car in person. I saw the thread about going to Apple Hill last year and someone mentioned apple donuts at High Hill. That is a family tradition along with their broiled chicken and cider.
Please feel free to write me at foothillfranklyn@yahoo.com or call/text me at 818-292-2272.
Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. -
Hey hauss, what do you mean "inside" the car? mine is all riveted with the exception of the two nuts that hold the master clutch cylinder in place. That seems to be the only thing I'll have to mess with inside...Planning on removing the side vent to gain access to the master. Tomorrow morning is the big day! Thanks for the response. Ron

Will do. Just sent the shop a box of original equipment from iconic parts for reference. Good news is ohlins had a road and track kit for the e36 so the strut assembly should be an easy reproduction. The place is RE Suspension. They have a website with a bunch of videos. Legit place with talented and knowledgeable people. The owner himself is doing the build. I am hopeful this will be good on the first attempt. With the purchase of Backdraft adjustable camber plates it's looking like a 4300 budget for the kit. I may pay more for the TTX model rear shock which is double adjustable instead of single. The same can be done up front but the TTX strut insert is a small fortune so will probably pass. I will have to make do with single adjustment.
