Hmmm, I love that blue with red interior. Although those whitewalls would have to go!

I don't know how smart one has to be when you spend $60K and only get 40 miles on the engine. If it were me I'd be livid. Smart? Puh-leeze, that's insulting. I'm sorry Keith, but based upon the...

I'll repeat. When you spend $40,000 or $50,000 on an engine, you should expect more than 40 or 50 miles. And if you have no faith in the chain, then don't install it. Don't build the engine,...

Anyone heard from ERA Chas lately??
I miss the good old days when you "waxed" philosophically about the trials and tribulations of magnesium wheels. G-d speed to you and your family.

Dan and Daves visit to Alloycars
This is an open forum called "Cobra Talk." And I'm very sorry that you think I'm here to "create grief." I can only see what everyone else can see, which is considered light on evidence at this...

I see a comment now, on their website, that states Alloycars discontinued their Cobra in 2008 because it didn't have a future in the US market. I also see maybe one finished car in all those pics...

SPE hot rod Cobra for $52K
Could they have fit more references to "Shelby" in the title of the ad? The grey interior with white pinstripes is non-traditional and I'm being nice. :) Firehawk tires. No thank you. Meh....

428fe, or 427fe, which one do you prefer? Please no other engines, thanks.
I'd choose the Big Block Chevy. Was that a choice? Ooops! Although it's not quite a real FE, I'd leave the 428 in the Cobra. If it ain't broke, why fix it?

And then there are CC members who we can't get to leave this site, say, like, for instance, NYG. What will it take for NYG to his Nissan Leaf and go away.

Alloycars are real
A Kirkham roller is $80,000. An Alloycars roller is $70,000. But, Alloycars makes pin drive and independent rear optional. And rear brakes aren't even mentioned, unless I'm missing something....
