    I second what Steve and Dek said about the SS threaded rod. Then slip a piece of SS thin wall tubing (correct ID and length) over the threaded rod to give it that finished look. Cheers Greg

    Dek, I faced the exact same problem with my Cheetah tribute. My unconventional solution was to install two 12v linear actuators to lift the nose about six inches. That allows me to grab it closer...
