Blown motor - which Long Block to buy?
For street driving and I would say auto-cross too, I like a flat torque curve over the rpm range. Nothing more frustrating than mashing the throttle at 2000 rpm and getting a slow dog, at 3000 rpm...

In my observation, an aluminum body has the most appeal to the "close as possible to the real deal crowd". Which is by far the smallest market I think. Most guys buy one because they always wanted...

Well, they are newer used cars! So they are not as complicated as a late model, but they are not 50 years old either. Which means the wiring is not crispy, the suspension rubber is not all rotted...

As an aside, I hate the red ignition on indicator light. Too many years driving muscle cars from Detroit that never have enough gauges I guess, but red catches my eye and I am programmed to think bad...
