    Yep, same here. I wouldn't say I'm old but I'm definitely turning into my dad! Plus, I'm a tire geek and most of my cars have very grippy rubber so burning rubber in any meaningful fashion...

    The silicone fluid works pretty well but will eat natural rubber seals. With good synthetic seals it is benign. It softens the natural rubber and though it will seal a minor seep it can eat away...

    Yes it could but completely overkill. There have been a few real deal 427 SOHC motors in Cobras. You can easily fit a big block from 427-600 ci if you want but the small block stroked 427 are lighter...
