On a 427 it goes on the inside center of the frame, and I think the same is true of the small-block cars. I believe they used tiny brass flathead screws, not sure the size. I didn’t want to drill...

Front inner panels made up and installed. Oil cooler added along with the side vents and badges.

I finished up and installed a couple more trunk panels. Also installed the rear bulkhead, finished the covering up, coming together nicely.:)

Very well done Bill. Looks nice and serves two functions. Not only does it provide cold air to the horns, but also serves as a nice container to hold jets, air correctors, etc. in case they slip...

Carbide tipped cutters really are good. I've been using a 1" carbide tipped cutter for cutting holes in 1.2mm SS sheet. A job that I thought would be hard work and take a long time was just so easy...
