Thanks, for getting back to me. I'm glad that the whole family got to enjoy 649 ( except your sister, I guess) .
You will enjoy your new ERA 289, a friend of mime has one with 80,000 miles on it, during his 20 years of ownership no major problems.

How many miles are on 649 now, I always enjoyed driving it ( my hated those loud side pipe but not me).
