    I just read your post about removing carpeting in an ERA FIA. I just bought a used FIA street car and have considered doing the same yet also had your concerns. Peter told me the guy can be messy but said it was all possible. Did you try it yet? I'm curious to see how it goes for you as there's not much going back!

    I resolved the issue. It was not air in the line, Joyridin was correct that it was the caliper e brake adjustment. What I was doing wrong was that you need to first fully depress the caliper piston...

    I put some new shoes on the 289 and took it in for a front alignment. They found the rear end thrust angle was off so I brought it home and Old Schooled it with string line and a tape measure....
