    Hey, do you have a studebaker for real? I am a Stude guy too and have owned a 53 CK. My dad had one when I was a kid too and I currently have a 39 CE with a Mercedes turbodiesel and five speed overdrive.

    Dad worked in the factory in the late forties early fifties.

    Weld the header collector to the sidepipe and be done with it. The slip on will always leak some no matter how tight you get it. Nothing worse than a exhaust leak, hiss, puff & rattle.
