Tom,
As an EM owner I have a question if you don't mind.
I sold an Elegant Motors Replica last year and am now looking at an EM.
The suspension is all corvette, front and rear. Looks like C4 do to the aluminum parts.
It currently has a Chevy engine in it but the price seems fair.
I'd like to know which generation it is before making an offer.
VIN # EM427SC0746012588.
Thanks for your help.
Mike

Emblems
Cut off the pins and install the emblems with 3M automotive double faced adhesive tape. If you don't like them, they are easily removed with a piece of fishing line.

390 FE Edelbrock Power Package
Use the 390 block and stroke it. You can get 431 ci from a 4.125 stroke, or 445 from a 4.25 stroke (That's with a ,030 cleanup bore). Or, if you want 427 ci, you can use your 352 block, bore it .060...

I purchased my E-M Cobra kit in September 1995. I do not know which type it is, but I think the tooling for the body was relatively new at that time. It was built before the chassis and body were...

Which original Cobra was used to splash your replica?
To "splash" a fiberglass part is to use an actual part (in this case, a Cobra body) as the "plug" for the mold. The part is polished and release agent is applied to the part. Then tooling gelcoat is...
