Has anyone modified the brake and clutch pedal to move both a bit more away from the gas pedal? Looking at the mounting. it looks as though offset tabs from center would help.

Had the same problem with my BDR. Have a 347 with electric choke. I had to adjust choke spring. I need to pump gas pedal only when car is cold. Warm starts are start button only.

Don't know if you are talking about Ford Racing, but had same problem with a 302 and it was a bad crankshaft. They refunded my $$ and I bought new motor. A big pain in the ass.

I put a Ford Racing 347 stroker in my BDR Cobra. Best decision I ever made. Lots of torque and RPM's. Ford claims 450 HP and I believe it. Idle decent and with a 700 CFM Holley, no problems.
