My understanding is the IRS axle side bearings and seals are the same for both 28 and 31spline, the axle bearing area diameter is larger than the spline OD.
All IRS housings will accept 31 spline...

The measurement I gave is for the ID size of the fitting I think the AN # is to do with the Army Navy thread, not the bore size.
Measured these AQ fittings, -12an O ring boss has 0.600" ID
