On the street car I use a Mallory distributor...
On the street car I use a Mallory distributor with magnetic pickup (Duraspark) and a MSD box. The Mallory is easier to lock out and doesn't look like a chebby part. :) The other cars are all MSD....

Looking at the photo of the cylinder head combustion chambers, I can't see the imprint of the metal ring of the head gasket well between #2 and #3 cylinders. I would guess the head is a bit warped...
