I have one idle speed screw as a positive stop ON EACH BANK.

One screw on one side only encourages linkage wear/misalignment etc.

Something to think about, for Weber IR owners.

Rotor phasing, base timing etc. This hardly ever happens with carbs.

Pull the rotor, and apply some moly spray grease to the moving points in the advance mechanism.
Leaving it dry like that causes the mechanism to grind itself...
