Maybe using a piece of plastic tubing and a shop vac you can get a hold of it, or move it to a spot where you can grab it with something else. Make sure there's no chance of vacuuming in fuel vapors.

I went with seat heaters - it's always there at the flick of a switch. I also keep a small blanket in the trunk to throw over our legs, that helps quite a bit.

Heated seats, a warm jacket, hat and gloves. If it gets much below 40F and the sun isn't out, a lap blanket helps keep the warmth in. I can't imagine any cockpit heater could beat that.

I found a piece of fairly dense foam about 1/2 inch thick, cut it so it fits snug up against the cooler and covered it with black duct tape. It stays put and is easy to remove.

I got one for about 12 bucks from aircraft spruce. It's a manual job you use with a wrench. Other than being a little slow it works fine. I've probably installed about 75 nuts with it.

I used brush-on truck bed liner. Nice and thick and covers great. Works nice on jacks stands, etc. for a non-marking, durable surface coating.
