Description: For Sale: ERA 289FIA , ERA-2031. Satin silver w/Viper blue FIA nose stripe done by NW Custom and Restoratoins (www.nw-cars.com), titled in Washington as 1964 Kit Car with collector plates (no yearly fees). Unusual powerplant: Ford's all aluminum hand assembled DOHC SVT Cobra 4.6L. Port-matched, lightly polished, Ballanced, blueprinted, forged-ceramic pistons, H-beam rods, full windage tray and Morosso pan . This motor redlines at 8000rpm and the acceleration is not like your buddies 427 Cobra. More like a F1 car or a superbike. This is how the Shelby Series-One might have felt if Carroll was on speaking terms with Ford in 1996. Transmission: Tremec T-45 5-speed gearbox attached to ERA's optional competition suspension w/adjustable antisway bars. Optional larger 12.5" brakes, 5-pin knock off FIA Replica wheels in raw unfinished aluminum (to mimic the imperfect appearance of the original magnesium). You also get: Halon
fire system, leather buckets, 5 pt. racing harness, SW gauges, dash mounted programmable shift light, Alpine stereo, Original Lucas tribar headlamps and tonneau cover.

Other mentionalbes: This car was Featured in Mustang and Fords magazine in a 3 page special feature written by Eric English, it was also featured in the shamefull adult movie: "Faster" by Exitlight productions. The laptop programmable Accel DFI Fuel/spark controll system in this car was developed by ex Ford Engineers in cooperation with Blood Enterprises (www.bloodenteprises.com) for Mr.Gasket using this very car as a alpha-testing vehicle. Although the car has at trophied in every show attended, it was not built for shows and the engine bay is conservatively detailed in black for easy cleaning and frequent driving. Local buyers get a 1 hour chasis-dyno session at Blood Enterprises courtesy of the seller (bring your earplugs).
