Description: Kirkham Aluminum body Cobra built by David Wagner of Classic Motorsports. This is a unique variation of a 427 - it is equipped with a 331c.i. Roush engine producing 440HP. There were a number of original cars with this setup (also called an AC 289) This car combines the lighter, tamer small block with the coil-spring suspension of a 427 Cobra, making for an excellent ride. The Roush engine starts right up with an automatic choke and runs great!

This car is equipped with a Tremec 5-speed, Wilwood brakes (name machined off to look like original), original style differential, wilton wool carpet, original style leather interior, Smith gauges, and a heater. This is a street-version with no hoodscoop, no roll bar, and underbody/rear exit exhaust. Beautiful professional paint job with 3M protective film in common stone-chip areas.

We can also build a Kirkham to your specifications, or restore your original AC/Shelby Cobra. Please call or email for details. Asking $130,000 OBO -- 248 756 7201

Also, this does have the original style steel suspension, not the new Kirkham billet style. This car is very much like an original!

Rode in this car this past weekend. Car is very tidy and tight with good power and excellent craftsmanship throughout. The undercar exhaust has a lovely bark as well! Well done, Wagners!

Nice setup -- reminds me of a certain green SPF.
