Description: Mark I FFR1352 Factory Five Cobra Replica 12-15-06
Titled in 1998 as FFR1352KCobra Roadster
Grandfathered emissions standards in Georgia
Since computer/wiring harness is from a 1992 Mustang the State
Of Georgia tests emissions based upon the 1992 standards. While the
Car has catalytic convertors and can pass the standard test, I was able
To get relaxed emissions standards assigned to replica cars.

Paint: Viper Blue Pearl Metallic with Chevrolet Bright White Stripes

331 stroker about 8.6 to 1 compression
Blueprinted and balanced
Engine girdle
Cast steel crank, forged rods, Al pistons
90 MM Ford mass air sensor

1.7 SVO roller rockers
Crane super coil
Custom Tune

Oil filter 90 degree Ford block adaptor
Convertible 5.0 Ford motor mounts
36 lb/hr injectors
160 F thermostat
Heavy duty mustang radiator
93 octane

Exhaust: Ford Motorsport 1 5/8 shortie headers
FFR catalytic converters
Side pipes with California Turbo Mufflers

Transmission: T-5 with mobile 1 Synthetic lube
Centerforce Dual friction clutch
Aluminum flywheel
Upgraded metal clutch cable quadrant

Rear End: 3.73 rear gear with positraction
Auto Weld adjustable upper control arms
FFR Lower control arms

Radio: AM/FM/CD Pioneer 45 watts
(4) 6” round Rockford Fosgate speakers

Stock 5.0 manual steering
Standard FFR seats
Chrome quick jack bumpers
427 and COBRA body badges
Approximately 2,270 lbs w/o driver with ½ tank of gas
Lots of extra build parts go with the car
Have way more $ into car than the sales price!
Firewall insulation.
Gauges were from the Mustang except amp gauge came with kit.
140 MPH Mustang speedometer

Condition: Runs great (All fluids changed regularly)
Some chips in paint (15,000 miles in 7 years)
Interior fair condition needs some work/TLC
Not a show car but looks good from the street
Temp and Volt gauges work.
Oil Pressure, Fuel Gauge and Amp Gauge not connected.
Slight chip in paint at one hood pin.

Comments: Phenomenal acceleration, watch all others disappear in the rear view mirror.
The combination of drag radials and 4 link adjustable rear with positraction
help this cobra put the power to the pavement and accelerate like a
slingshot.
Be prepared for people to wave, holler at you,
give you the thumbs up, etc. when driving this car (seriously, every time
I take it out I get all kinds of positive reactions).
My insurance is ~$300/yr through a collector car insurance company since
I drive less than 5,000 miles per year.
Annual registration in Georgia is only ~$30/yr as there is a special allowance
for replica cars.
The car is very comfortable inside while driving. It is well insulated and does
not get hot inside the passenger compartment.
The ride is very smooth and sporty but not harsh.
The exhaust sounds great, not too loud and you don’t have to wear ear plugs.
The “grandfathered emissions standards” means in a non attainment area like
Atlanta where all cars have to be tested, mine doesn’t have to pass as tough
HC, CO, particulate, etc. standards as other cars as long as I keep the catalytic
Converters.
This car is priced to sell as I probably have close to $37,000 in parts alone not
counting labor into building this car.
Have extra copies of the FFR Build instruction manual and wiring diagrams
as well as many receipts.
Buyer will be very happy as this car is an adrenaline rush.
