Superformance MkIII 427S/C Cobra, SP0-2584. Titanium Silver / Black stripes. New in 2007.
Originally titled in Missouri as a 1965 Ford Convertible. Now titled as same in Michigan.
Engine
Iron Block Windsor, 9.5” deck height “351”. 421 c.i. 4.045 bore X 4.100 stroke. SCAT crank and rods, JE pistons at 10.25 compression ratio, runs well on 93 premium fuel. AFR 205 heads, Edelbrock Vic Jr aluminum single-plane intake manifold, Barry Grant Mighty Demon 825 cfm double-pumper carb. Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam, roller rocker arms, MSD distributor and Crane HI-6 ignition box w/ rev control. Ford racing polished aluminum valve covers and polished oval aircleaner w/ K&N element. Mocal oil cooler, braided SS lines and remote oil filter mount. New Holley “Red” fuel pump and proper relayed electrical connection. Dash mounted manual fan switch, with automatic mode still in operation, polished aluminum dual fan covers.
Driveline
Tremec TKO 5-speed transmission with 0.64:1 overdrive for comfortable highway cruising and Dana/BTR differential with 3.46:1 gears. McLeod scattershield, aluminum flywheel and a hydraulically actuated Centerforce Dual-Friction clutch.
Brakes
Wilwood Forged Dynalite 4–piston calipers and Wilwood “Q” pads, SS brakelines at all corners.
Suspension
IRS rear suspension, with unequal length A-arms, Bilstein Coilovers and R/T upper rear shock mounts. Front suspension is also unequal length A-arms, Bilstein Coilovers. Sway bars front & rear.
Wheels & Tires
PS Engineering full polished 17” Wheels true “knock-offs” with Michelin PS2 tires 275/40-17 and 335/35-17
The “frosting”
Olthoff full-width 1-3/4” OD rollbar welded and bolted to the frame; no pop rivets in this one. All silver powder coated. Silver powder on the steel quick-jacks, new silver ceramic coating on the sidepipes. Top, side curtains and tonneau cover included with custom designed storage system for the top, side curtains and bows. Radiator and oil cooler screens. Hella H-4 headlamps and LCD taillights light the way and make sure you’re seen. Full leather seating and both sides adjust, latch-link 5-point safety harnesses and a Moto-Lita leather wrapped steering wheel. A wood wheel is also available for the “purist”.
This is a driver’s car, ready and raring to go. It is capable of 11 second quarter mile runs at 115 mph. At the wheels it’s laying down mid-400 hp and 400 torque, just enough to get you into and out of trouble. A great cruiser with lots of torque. 54,200 miles of experience.
