Engine and drivetrain: Custom built by noted SoCal race engine builders RC Performance in Huntington Beach. Dyno’d at 512 hp. and 524 ft/lbs. torque, World Products Man-O-War block, bored and stroked to 427 c.i., Eagle crankshaft & connecting rods, JE 9.5 to 1 pistons, Crane hyd. Roller camshaft, Edelbrock alum. Cylinder heads, Moroso alum. Valve covers with period-correct 427 emblems, Polished Hurricane Intake manifold, Holly 850 carb. & Holly fuel pump, Melling oil pump, Hawaiian Racing alum. Oil pan, MSD billet distributor, MSD ignition system (coil & ignition box w/rev limiter), chrome turkey pan, Skellings & Hellings period correct air cleaner, K&N filter, engine is polished and chromed.
Aluminum single-core high performance radiator, shroud and dual fans, stainless steel fan covers, stainless steel expansion tank, oil cooler and braided lines, aluminum finished firewall, 17 gal. stainless steel fuel tank.
Body features: show-quality multi-coat paint, Stainless steel quick-jacks, Ceramic headers and silver ceramic side-pipes, stainless steel rollbar, ray-dot mirror, rear fender clear rock guards, Star Shield invisible bra. Stainless steel locking fuel filler, soft top and side screens (never used), tonneau cover, sun visors and wind wings. Both indoor and outdoor (Noah) car covers.
Chassis features: Fully independent unequal length a-arm suspension. Bilstein custom self-adjusting coil-over shocks, Dana limited-slip rear differential (IRS), rack & pinion steering, Wilwood 4-pot disc brake calipers (12” front, 10” rear), vented power-assisted brakes, drive-shaft e-brake.
Wheels & tires: 15” original Halibrand-style wheels with stainless steel knock-offs, BFG performance tires – 255/60/15 front and upgraded 295/50/15 rear.
Interior: Steel-frame original style seats with leather seating surfaces, adjustable driver’s seat, fully carpeted floors, drive tunnel and rear firewall, finished door panels, black dash panel with glove box, heater/defogger, full instrumentation with period correct Smiths/Lucas gauges & toggle switches, reverse 180 mph speedometer (calibrated), Moto-lita wood steering wheel with Cobra emblem, 4-point racing-style safety harnesses, original-style stainless steel shifter and hand-brake lever, Cobra emblem carpet floor mats, stainless steel fire extinguisher, currently equipped with pedal extensions for more distance to steering wheel (shorter driver), Carroll Shelby autographed glovebox door.
