Brand new ROUSH Performance "stroker" 347 cid crate engine. Built in the Livonia, Michigan facility owned by Jack Roush, the "Cat in the Hat" Ford NASCAR team owner. Following assembly the engine was run on the Roush dyno which showed maximum 448 hp & 418 lb. ft. of torque. This Roush motor was built using only premium components including a Ford 302 block (stroked to 347 cid), aluminum AFR heads, polished aluminum Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake, Holley Street Avenger carburetor with vacuum secondaries & electric choke, Eagle forged steel crank, forged H-beam rods, hydraulic roller cam, MSD billet distributor, billet steel flywheel, Roush cast aluminum valve covers, Roush billet air cleaner, 8 quart powder coated oil pan & billet poly-v belt pulley kit.
Thie engine is the perfect fit for a Cobra kit car project or a classic Mustang project (may require different oil pan). Lots of horsepower for a small block plus all premium components used in the build mean you will have a strong & reliable V-8 for many years.
