Description: Shell Valley Replica built in 1992, titled in Iowa as 92 Cobra Kit. Engine and tranny Ford 429 and C6 from 71 T-Bird, rebuilt in 92 with high compression TRW pistons, mild (high torque) cam, dual plane Edelbrock intake, Holley 600 cfm 4 barrel carb, idle-5,000 rpm powerband. Tansmission has manual valve body for full manual shifting. This car is not a 100 pt show car, and is built more like a street rod than authentic Cobra, but still gets full attention just like a real Cobra. Wheels are aluminum Centerline. The suspension and brakes are Mustang II with coilovers in front and 9" Ford posi in rear with 4-bar links and coilovers. Runs and drives good with 4,500 miles on odometer. Could use some mechanical attention including leaking oil pan and re-finish of headers. Brakes are decent for normal driving, but I noticed during one day of SSCA autocross that the car accelerates much better than decelerate. I have too much on my plate to give this Cobra the attention it was built for. I have more pictures and a video DVD made last full with this Cobra and my friend's Factory 5 Cobra in action that I can provide to serious buyers.

The car is located in the Quad Cities area in Bettendorf, Iowa. The Quad Cities borders Iowa and Illinois along I-80 and the Mississippi River. If you're interested in viewing the car but don't want to make the trip here, send me a pm with a mailing address and I can send you a DVD video of the car. THX.
