Description: Factory 5 Mark 3.1... Very well sorted out car. Titled as a 1965!! I have done drag race events, open track and car shows in this car. The paint is still fantastic! I finished the car back in 2009 as a retirement present to myself from the military...but retired life has me itchy to do more! This car is not an easy car to handle, but is very tame if driven with respect....very streetable ...I have driven from Alabama to Ohio in this car and got around 24 mpg!.It even has seat heaters in it!...It does make a TON of torque!!! and I MEAN A TON! Almost 700 FT/LBS (690) and right at 575 HP at the TIRES!!!!! for that reason...no test drives!!! I blew the engine at the 8000 mile mark at a combination 1/4 mile and autocross event. The engine was completely rebuilt and stroked to 408 approx. 3000 miles ago. It now has a Sportsmans block, Eagle rotating assembly with ESP armor coating. X303 cam/heads. Has a Quicktime bell housing, Aluminum flywheel ... It is fuel injected with a stand alone Electromotive TEC-GT system with 60 lbs injectors.TKO 600 transmission with SPEC 3 clutch. Solid 3-link rear axle with torsen T-2 diff. Double adjustable QA1 rear shocks with Bilsteins up front...600 lbs fronts/ 300 lbs rear. Sits on NT01 NITTO tires (17inch 255's in front and 17's 315's in back) and they still stand no chance of hooking up...the car weighs in at 2550 lbs with a 20 gallon custom fuel tank. The turbo on the car is a 66mm Turbonetics. I also still have the matching stock driver's seat if you want to go back to the stock look. If you don't care for the Green Lantern Valve Covers I still have the Ford Motorsport (Tall) Chrome covers. Also has a 2-quart accusump with remote opener. Even have a stereo since the turbo quiets the exhaust tone... I am in no rush to sell. This is an E-ticket ride kind of car....CRAZY fast. I could talk for hours about this car....this was my second cobra I built and I spared no expense..no donor build here...all new parts...just opened the catalogs and order what I wanted!!

Obviously a fantastic car. My plea would be Please when that itch to build simmers down to making just a "nice" (sortof) Cobra or three for we poorer retirees, would you take a shot at that? A 300-inch engine will do fine and still produce that godawful fantastic sound and do the G-force thing. Acft seat belts and dual roll bars, yes, but that should do it for exotic features--so long as it still is a Cobra. (Submitted just in case.)
