1998 Superformance Mk III 427 S/C Cobra. Red with Yellow Rookie stripes (static vinyl - removeable). SP00205; New York title. The very first thing you’ll notice is the correct Single Hoop Rollbar which was retrofitted to match the original CSX configuration and dimensions. This is the only Superformance MKIII known to have this upgrade. Original Chrome Rollbar is included. The original cowl hole is intact and covered with a Shelby emblem as seen in photos. Under the hood: Coast High Performance (CHP) 351 Dart Block stroked to 427 cid rated by CHP at 550 hp. It's outfitted with: Probe SRS Pistons, Lightweight I-Beam Rods, Forged 4340 Crank, AFR Aluminum Heads, Probe Shaft Mount Rocker System, Edelbrock Intake Manifold, Comp Cams Xtreme Energy Cam, MSD Distributor and 6AL Ignition, 750 Holley Carb, polished “Cobra 427” valve covers, custom oval air cleaner with matching red paint, stainless steel polished surge tank, black ceramic-coated side pipes, aluminum single-core hi-performance radiator with custom brass and stainless screen and 3 qt. Accusump accumulator system, all braided SS lines and dual electric fans with, oil cooler [with SS lines]. Hallon fire suppression system, Masserati air horns Geartrain: Tremec TKO 600 5-speed transmission, with 8.8" IRS [3.73:1-ratio], limited-slip differential Lakewood steel scattershield, McLeod clutch.Suspension particulars: heavy-duty swaybars front & rear, HHAL coil-over adjustable-ride-height shocks, Ford power-assisted and vented high-performance 4-wheel disc brakes. Rolling stock: 15" painted pin-drive Halibrand-style Trigo knockoff wheels with (<12 months old) BF Goodrich tires [245/60Rx15" front; 295/50Rx15" rear]. Includes a spare with jack. In the cockpit: AutoMeter Instruments blackfaced gauges with reverse-winding speedometer; ; Lucas toggle switches, Moto-Lita hardwood-rimmed steering wheel and Leather wrapped Moto Lita steering wheel. Glovebox with Carroll Shelby Signature (certificate of authenticity included). Premium German black leather interior with wool carpeting, Custom SPF Cobra floormats. Original-style pedals, original-style/aircraft-style lock & latch seatbelts, with driver and passenger 5-point shoulder harness. There is another set of shoulder harnesses behind driver in case new owner prefers not to have the rollbar cross member mounted harness as pictured. 12 Volt accessory input under dash. Heater/defogger. Dual Raydyot mirrors. Also outfitted with: 17-gallon [64-liter] SS fuel tank with large externally mounted cannnister style filter, Chromed quickjacks, polished stainless spinners, halogen headlights, with SS rock guards, soft top, side curtains with windows, tonneau cover. Rear fender Spats have been on since day 1, and the paint behind them is absolutely perfect. There are some rock chips on the front cowl which is common for any regularly driven cobra. Custom chassis-mounted black rollbar. All fluids and filters updated, including hydraulic lines bled for brakes and clutch. Bonus red soft car cover and 2015 edition owners manual from Superformance. This exceptionally powerful Cobra has logged 10,250 miles. Meticulously maintained. Special note to prospective Canadian purchasers: we are now working to make sure that the documentation we have for this serpent [which was built and first sold in 1998] will satisfy Transport Canada's requirement for import into Canada.
