It breaks my heart but I have to sell my MK4, I am relocating from Philadelphia to Toronto, Canada and just found out that I cannot import the car in Canada since I started from a US kit and only way to do in Canada is start from a Canadian kit. Over $42,000 in parts with bills and a few hundred hours of fun. Asking $35,000 / OBO.
Got my kit in September 2013, all new parts. The car mechanicals, electrical, dashboard/gages are done, body is mounted with panels with initial fit. Car runs well, tried it on private roads, and has never been registered.
Left to be done: horns, hood/door/trunk handles, interior carpets, final body finish and paint. My plan was to assemble everything, register and run without paint to ensure everything is right and then have it painted. So you can finish the car and paint it your dream color scheme.
