This Florida registered 1964 Cobra has been maintained with an open checkbook and is in perfect condition. Build #206 by California Cobras in 2004, it was assembled and built in South Africa. It’s rocking a 351W 490 HP Crate Motor w/100 Shot 5 Speed & 3.73:1 LSD gearing, BMW E36 suspension, coil overs, at 2720# with driver & full fuel. But it gets better- the Cobra comes with two nitrous bottles and both have quick change connectors! The convertible top and side curtains have been properly fitted and go with the car. It also has a new Optima dry cell battery, and high-end Optima charger hard wired in the trunk
Since purchasing this car the following major parts have been replaced or upgraded: differential, tires, brakes, steel brake lines, camber and toe adjusters, coil springs, brake heat shield, driveshaft safety loop, seat belts, exhaust heat shields, oil cooler, radiator, all fuel and coolant lines, brake cooling ducts, oil pan, front cover, crank damper and pulley system, coil, MSD ignition, carburetor, valve covers, and breathers. This car is safe at speed but like any high horsepower short wheelbase vehicle it needs driver skill to put it into tit’s sweet spot.
Not just a not a garage queen or show car, it ran 2:30 lap times at 7/10s on the Sebring long course running 140 MPH down the back straight.
