429/460 timing gears

Hey, I was wondering if anybody is using a gear drive system. I want install one but have heard that some machining might be needed to do so, and that sounds like something I might not want to tackle.

My engine is currently being built by Competition Motorsports and it will have a gear drive. I don't know anything about any special machining that needs to be done although I did ask by builder how big of job it would be if I got tired of the noise. It did not sound like it would that big of a job to change it back to a chain.

During my last visit to Dynamic I had the opportunity to take a ride in a SPF with a gear drive, to be honest I really could not hear it at speed although everyone at Dynamic said they could hear the gear drive coming a mile away............sooo cooollll
