Recipe for 1234 HP BBF

If you ever wanted to know what type of parts it would take to build 894HP with no power adder, and 1234HP with nitrous:

John,

I would love to hear it. What do you think it cost? Could live on the street??

Hope your build is progessing nicely.

Kieth,

It does look like he had a good plan.

Probably driveable on the street, but not very street friendly.

My guess is $20,000 or so. Here is my very rough estimate, I don't know for sure.

Pro Stock heads $4,000, SVO Block $4,000. Custom pistons $1,000, custom crank $1500, ignition stuff $2,000, rods $1000, custom cam $450.00, roller rockers $450.00, custom pushrods $400, shaft mount rockers $800, custom Dominator carb $1,500, Danny Bee timing belt $900, oil pan $400.

Thats about $15,000 without all the machine work.

My goal to fire up my engine this summer will not be met. Been on the road too much. Maybe by Oct.

Hey, I need to show you our latest toy, new 2003 Mustang Cobra with the supercharger. My brother has it at the tuners now raising boost from 8 to 14lbs. YESSSS!

John

Remember, the Aussies use DIN horsepower. That means he's only outting out about 1100 SAE HP!!!!!!!!!!
