screw in studs
 
I have DOVE-C heads and want to swap the studs for 7/ 16 w/ford guide plates. do I need to know anything or do i just swap them out? GMAN

Gman,
To maintain the proper rocker arm geometry and to utilize the correct length push rods, the rocker stud bosses need to be machined down the thickness of the guide plate (usually .125").
