vacuum secondary springs

Has anyone played with a lighter spring in their vacuum secondary Holley? I've got a 460 BB with a 750 cfm carb and was toying with the idea of going to a lighter spring to open the vacuum secondaries quicker. Don't know what weight spring is in there now and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on this and did they see any improvement in the engine spooling up quicker on the bottom end without bogging due to the secondaries opening too quickly.

Buy the Holley spring kit, has all the different springs in there. Each one is color coded, all vac secondary carbs come from the the factory with the silver spring installed, which is about right in the middle of the spring range....also if you're going to be doin a lot of vac spring playing, get the quick change kit also....
