torque strap

I am buying a SPF with a 520 that tends to smack the header opening through the body under hard acceleration. It was suggested that I install a torque strap. Should I look to my motor mounts first? Are there different types? And, if I do install a torque strap, what is the best way to "finish" the car correctly and safely.

Try urethane mounts if you don't already have them....

Blue , You can drill a 1/2" hole thru the center of the motor mount and run a 1/2" bolt thru it. Leave about 1/4" slack so the mount will work, thread lock it and your done!! very simple way to do it
