466 install in a La Exotics??
Anyone drop in a 466 crate motor in a LA Exotics?? I have a great mechanic working on the cobra and it seems things are going as well as possible. My question is the following.
Has anyone had to notch their frame for the larger motor? If so did you have to reinforce the frame?? The Mc Cload bell housing has been cut to fit. We are almost center in the engine bay (one inch closer to the steering bar. What kind of clearance did you end up with after the install from the bell housing to frame? Any advise would be great! I know Ive got a good guy working on the car its just a little hard for me not to ask a million questions ) and Im sure I am driving my mechanic crazy!!!! |
