460ci Oil Sensor . . . Where?

Call me inexperienced, but just help me.......

Where is the location that the oil sensor/oil pressure gauge screws into on the block?

Can't seem to find a threaded hole anywhere for it to go.

Please help . . . .

The oil pressure sender threads into the engine block "behind" the intake manifold. Your water temp sending unit installs "in" the front of your intake manifold.

Infact I just looked at your pictures in your Photo gallery... Look at first picture yo have and on the right side of pic in the top you will see the threaded plug (builder just plugged it for you) Thats where the oil sending unit goes.

You know, my dad beens working on this with me and he was sure that the back top plugged hole was it.

I thought I was sure it had to be in a lower place on the block to measure presure, mark another one wrong for me guessing!

The back of the block behind the intake manifold is the preferred position. There is also a port just rearward of the oil filter. Either will work. Just remember to plug the other or you will have a mess when you start it up.
