stupid questions, i know.....
 
ok - not totally ignorant here, but my specialties lie in computers, not cars

I'm purchasing a 72 mustang convertible with (i believe) factory 3 speed and boss 302 (not sure if it is factory or aftermarket)

what i'm looking to do is get around 450-500HP out of the car by the time i'm done with it - i assume i'm gonna want a CJ or SCJ and a nice strong tranny - was wondering if anyone would be willing to give me a few suggestions on a good street-legal option for engine/tranny on it

Yo Johnny,

Since you put this in the 429/460 area (and a 72 Mustang isn't a Cobra :rolleyes: ), I conclude you need to go to this other church :JEKYLHYDE to get answers to these questions:
