460 Performer RPM vs. Victor Jr. - height

Good day,
who could tell me the difference in height of the two intakes offered with the 460 from FORD (Performer RPM or Victor Jr.)?
I probably need the lower one.

Thanks,

Dominik

Hi Dominik,

That's why I pay the $5US for the PAW catalog - it has all of that stuff and much more in it ;)

Here's the data:

Edelbrock Performer 460: 4.10"
Edelbrock Performer RPM 460: 5.48"
Edelbrock Victor Jr:
Edelbrock Victor 460: 6.30"
Edelbrock Torker II: 3.875"

I couldn't find the Victor Jr in the catalog, but the dimensions for the Victor 460 are the same for either carb pad, i.e., both the 850 cfm carbs and the 4500 series carbs.

I added the Torker II because it's the lowest of all - I use it for my EFI - and it allows me to use a taller air filter. The taller air filter gives enough flow for the big engine - the vertically shorter filters do not, according to the K&N web site.

Hope this helps,

Tom
