20 degrees initial and 36-38 total all in by 3000 is typically what I see recommended for the 460.

Hummmm
I have mine set for 32 at idle (1000rpm) then opening to 50. I have a very loppy cam and roller everything. I have stroked mine to a 514. The recipe I used should get me around 720-750 hp - but I have yet to get it to the dyno to post real numbers.
