Byron - Tires, Mickey Thomson pro sports with wheel well and extensive chassis work. (99 inch wheelbase) Car will hold 1250's. I've had my car since about 91 and I haven't killed myself or my son yet. Been mostly a weekend drag car off and on and now back off. You've got a good handle on this thing it seems when you talk about blower tune. I understand, but think you can use about 100 more cubes. That way you can run less tune and cam and have less heartburn. My next motor will be a eliminator sportsman 4.3 w/ "c" heads and a hydro bumpstick if I were to do it again.
My car hooks hard and runs straight and the only pain I've had was with trannys. This year I've finally switched over to a Coan glide but have yet to run because of the NHRA and rollbars together with some other,,,,,,,,,,,STUFF.
