Hi Guys, anyone running a victor on their 460? I have both a perf rpm/victor and am just trying to figure out the issues with the vaccumn for the brake servo, anyone give me any feedback. Thanks Dave:LOL:

Don't run a "T" for PCV valve and the brake servo. Run them separate, the brake direct to the manifold, and the PCV line to the base of the carb. Works great.

Likewise on the PCV to Carb. Brake to Manifold. Although I have an Automatic (C6) and my vacuum line to it and the brakes are T'd. No problems

I have a Victor Jr. intake on my 418W stroker. The original engine builder put a "T" so that both the brakes and pvc valve both used the vacuum source off the base of the carb. I upgraded this patch work by drilling and tapping a hole in the intake manifold at one of the rear mounting bosses reserved for either a coil mount or carb return springs or.....whatever.

Looks better and is now in spec.

I have a Performer 460 Manifold with 2 ports. (I can't tell you if they were factory or if the builder added them. I also have 2 points in the water jacket, 1 for temp, the other had a plug which I removed to add a pressure guage. All seem to be factory.) Front is used for vaccum guage and rear has a T for trans and brakes. PCV is connected to the Carb.
