New to CC
Have a '93 Tbird SC with 5spd. Am seriously looking into dropping a 429/460, 7.5l efi into it. Haven't been inside a motor (for other than repair) in many years and they were mopars (340s and 383s).
The 3.8 'R' supercharged engine is needing a rebuild. I found many posts over at SCCOA.com, but in my searching I found this club. Am looking at putting a 460 and a t56. Don't have much knowledge about EFI systems of other fords. Would like to stay with the EFI for many reasons. Could I take the harness and parts off of a different motor and patch it in then use a tuner? Especially since the wife says that the "SUPER" in Super Coupe means SUPERCHARGED! and could wind up putting a puffer on it. This engine would not be super high output but a daily driver (fair weather only) as the car doesen't do well in snow or rain. Thanks in advance. MikeH |
