Driver side valve cover gasket
I've replaced, loosened, tightened, changed breather, everything, but can't get the valve cover to stop leaking oil. Drivers side, outside over the plugs, back corner. It' just enough to drip down the backside, and either run down the front of the bell housing or get wind whipped to the side wall and lower firewall. Then the wind carries it down the frame or under the floor pan where it drips a healthy amount while it rests in the garage, or my brand new trailer floor. A healthy amount is: I've added one quart since November. And I've driven quite a bit.
Any suggestions? |
Sounds like a bent or warped valve cover.
Have you put a straight edge on it ? |
