1964 Ford Thunderbolt

I currently own a Superformance Cobra. I wanted to purchase a Superformance GT, but being a big guy, I didn't even come close in fitting into the cockpit, Gurney bubble or not. I started a fun and so far affordible
project. I purchased a 1964 Fairlane and cloning it into a Thunderbolt. I
believe Ford only made about 100 cars in 1964. Originals are going for half mill
today. Thunderbolts were a successful drag racing car for Ford in 1964. They won the 64 Winternationals for the Top Stock Eliminator and the overall NHRA Manufacturers cup. Like many of us Cobra enthusiasts, the T-Bolt ran a 427
center oiler, dual quads, which put out around 500+ HP and ran in the mid 11's. Do to the cost of a 427, I am using a built up 429 with a C6 tranny.
