Please read my reply to the last post- low oil pressure

Hi. I just tried to send a new post as a reply to a prior post. I need help!! I have a 429CJ with what may be a bad bypass valve in the block causing low/no oil pressure. Is there such a valve in the block, where is it, and how can I check/replace it? Thanks!! Kevin.

There's a pressure relief spring in the oil pump, but nothing in the block.

This may be a dumb question but have you checked the gauges? If you are running smiths gauges they fail quite frequently
