Nice offer Ed, excellent suggestions Lowell. We still have a couple months+ of driving weather. Jerry has another great suggestion with sleeving the cylinder and while you’re at it we could check the bearings and go thru the bottom end, get a set of heads you like and reassemble everything. Depending on the heads you choose I bet you could get all this done for less than $3k and have a fresh engine in for the spring. We could call it daisy or whatever the name of a blue flower is.
