See my notes on the TX Registration thread .. We are making this harder than it really is. Note, my comments on that thread refer to a rolling chassis from a manufacturer, completed by the owner, as an assembled vehicle. Not sure how this works with a turn-key.
I did have a paper tag so I could have some fragrance of legality when I drove the 12 miles to Plano for the inspection.
Now to live the life ..
