yep I believe it was a 390 block. The build up spec did vary a little from the initial one supplied from Huddart's, you are quite right, it is a Performer manifold, the volume I have been informed is 454ci
. To build up with a 427so over here would probably add another $2000 or so
The carb going on is a new Holley 750cfm 4150hp unit.
The baldy units shouldn't have a problem as the covers currently on there are quite low profile as well, but if there is a problem there are spacer kits available to give me the room I need.
This is the header system that will be going onto it (bear in mind it is a GT40 one so goes up rather than down
