It's in the Registry, history ends @1989. Did your grandfather own it prior to '89' ?

Yes he did and thank you so much sundude I call same and he knew exactly where the car was. My pap and I have been looking for almost 5 years. We exchanged pics and in a few months I'm flying to Florida to see the car. Without this place I don't know if I would have found it. Again thanks you so much

I do I just wish my pap was still here to make the trio with me to see it.I know he'd be happy to see that it still has the wire spoke wheels. His biggest fear was "some punk kid" putting mags on it.

Congratulations and I am happy that you found the Cobra. We had a young man on our site looking for his Fathers and it would up being owned by a doctor in Florida that has two of them and he was going to go down and the doctor was going to take him for a ride in it. Then another of our members came on and said he had been the 3rd owner of the car and told us where he bought it. Everything checked out by the registry so there were two happy guys.
Enjoy your trip and I know the Cobra will certainly bring back memories.
Ron :)
