We're BAAC from SAAC
I e-mailed Keith a few shots to post for us.
SAAC on Saturday was perfect but somehow the rain gods found us and Sunday brought a steady rain. The Opryland Hotel was awesome and there were plenty of fantastic cars to look at and listen to at Nashville Speedway. Tony Radford, Chip, Chad, and Alan Weaver were in attendance as well as several other Unique owners in the garage area. ...definitely worth the trip. Dave Crace and I went to the dinner/program and listened to Carroll Shelby talk about his future plans to produce alot of 'price competitive' cars to compete with 'the counterfeiters' and his crew told some interesting stories about the old days. I ended not taking my car because of last minute trailer issues and not enough miles to do the 4.5 hour shake-down. Tony towed his car up and his story is far more interesting, so I will let him tell it...but I was glad to not have the car on the rainy ride back home!! |

Running the TRAAC...
....took me all day to get the right colored cars lined up in front of the NASHVILLE SPEEDWAY sign at speed.....

Great stuff, can't wait to see some more pics. Did you guys get a chance to meet Ron Richards (aka Computerworks)? He says he has tons of detail shots he took, which I am sure he will post. Any other CC members we know of there?
